The Fair of San Giuseppe is held on March 19th in honor of Saint Joseph the Worker in the historic center of Tivoli. Its origins date back to 1895 when, with the aim of revitalizing the local economy, the Tivoli City Council established a fair for goods and livestock spanning three days of festivities, from March 19th to the 21st.

Following interruptions during the World Wars, the fair was revived in 1949 on March 19th and 20th. Over time, it has been condensed to a single day on March 19th, gradually reducing the presence of livestock, which historically served as the main trade commodity for local farmers. Today, it remains a highly anticipated and well-attended event in the city. Streets and squares in the center are adorned with stalls offering locally sourced agricultural products, plants, flowers, and a variety of artisanal goods crafted from wood, wicker, copper, and wrought iron, all made using traditional production methods from the Tivoli municipality and the Aniene Valley region.
