Located 32 km northeast of Rome,
Tivoli is easily accessible by:

CAR

From Rome:

Via the highway by taking the A24 Roma L’Aquila, EXIT Tivoli or Castel Madama, then SS Tiburtina in the northeast direction.

 

By taking the A1 Highway:

Drive on the A1 Highway towards Rome, follow the signs for GRA/A24, take the A24 Roma L’Aquila highway, EXIT Tivoli or Castel Madama; alternatively, take the GRA and exit onto SS Tiburtina towards Tivoli.

TRAIN

Roma Avezzano Pescara line from Tiburtina Station (metro B or Railway Station) or, at certain times only, from Termini (Railway Station, metro A and B). Trains coming from other directions all have a change at Roma Tiburtina.
