The church, dedicated to Vincent and used in the past as the home of the “City of Tivoli Theater,” does not have its facade on the square of the same name, but on a side wall.
After years of neglect, the carefully restored Church was reopened in May 2022 and is currently used for various cultural events. In the past, the Church was used as the venue for the “City of Tivoli” theater.
On the outside, the façade of the original church, built in 1286 at the behest of the Sebastiani family, has a white marble portal above which a large rose window opens, slightly off-center toward the corner facing the square.
In the church, in addition to St. Vincent, two important Tiburtine martyrs, St. Sebastian and St. Sinforosa, were also venerated ; according to local historians, under the altar, descending 22 steps led to the cave where the saint and her children allegedly hid to escape persecution under Hadrian.
